Decided major content updates for the next updates on game ‘Weird Store’
In this week, I’ve done game design like what happened in the event in details or sketched the design.

Devil Workshipper Event
This is a one thing I’ve been thinking about since before the first launch and I decided to include it in the next update.
It is a event where player can choose to become a Devil Worshipper. Becoming a Devil Worshipper has huge benefits, but it also has a very critical penalty. I’m not going to talk about it here because it could be a spoiler.
So player carefully choose if I would become a Devil worshipper or not. If you’re too greedy for the benefits, your store could end up with a disaster.
If player become a Devil Worshipper, player receives ‘Demonic Mind Fragment’. With this item, player can replace one material and it greatly increase chance of crafting success. But the product made by ‘Demonic Mind Fragment’ will have special item prefix
Achievement System
Another thing I decided to add on the next updates was an achievement system. I wanted to keep people in the game a little bit longer, and I wanted to keep them playing more, and I wanted to keep them playing multiple times.
I wrote about it on Twitter, but I saw that people were more enthusiastic when they were challenged, so I thought it would be nice to add a way to challenge system. With this system, I hope many people became more enthusiastic about running store longer and longer.
Of course, there’s a reward when you complete the challenges.
I want to make the achievement system unique to fit with my game concept that a customer visits the store and asks for a request distinguished from other games.
So the achievement system that I designed was that the scroll appears in the store and player opens it to choose the challenge. So I want to make it feel like taking challenge is another unique thing that happens in the store.
What to do next?
Now, starting next week, I’ll be making one last round of design changes and start development. For now, I’ll aim to finalize the implementation of the Demon Worshipper event in this week.
